Rumble

Rumble

( A vague translation of my poem " Ninne male banditte " to english )

Did it rain yesterday, my dear one,
did it rain ?

Roses in the yard are glittering,
Petals of flowers are as soft as you,
My lass with silky lissom hair
which dangles with breezy air

Did it rain yesterday, my dear one,
did it rain?

Did you hear that enchanting
voice of the bird sitting over the leaf?
Did you notice the pearly beads
of water on the picture you've drawn?

Sky is rumbling,
look at the sleeping sun skulked inside
warmth of clouds,
you'l echo me, I know, when I say

Did it rain yesterday, my dear one,
did it rain ?

Oh my dear, let it rain,
let the rumbles hit the earth,
my dear one has a fear of it,
Oh lovely sky,
if you rumble, if you thunder
she will hug me tighter, still tighter,

Why is it not raining?
Oh my god, why it is not?
